Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to mix.
- Gradually add milk while whisking to create a smooth batter. Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
- Sprinkle the pecan halves evenly over the batter.
- In a saucepan, combine dark corn syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat until smooth, then drizzle the syrup mixture evenly over the pecans.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Let the cobbler cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

- For extra crunch, broil the cobbler for 2-3 minutes after baking.
