Prepare the Ingredients. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips. Wash and trim broccoli into florets. Mince garlic and ginger. Set aside.
Marinate the Beef. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add beef slices, toss until coated, and let marinate.
Cook the Broccoli. Heat oil in a wok. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
Stir-Fry the Beef. Using the same wok, add oil if necessary, increase to high heat. Add beef, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry until beef is nearly cooked.
