  • broccoli florets
  • vegetable oil
  • garlic
  • fresh ginger
  • soy sauce
  • oyster sauce
  • cornstarch
  • sesame oil
  • sesame seeds
  • salt and pepper

Steps

  • Prepare the Ingredients. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips. Wash and trim broccoli into florets. Mince garlic and ginger. Set aside.
  • Marinate the Beef. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add beef slices, toss until coated, and let marinate.
  • Cook the Broccoli. Heat oil in a wok. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
  • Stir-Fry the Beef. Using the same wok, add oil if necessary, increase to high heat. Add beef, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry until beef is nearly cooked.
  • Combine and Finish. Return broccoli to wok. Drizzle with sesame oil, stir everything, and garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave.
