Steps
Begin by slicing the beef into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until translucent. Add minced garlic for an additional minute.
Add beef strips to the skillet and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Sauté sliced mushrooms in the same skillet until golden brown.
Return beef to the skillet. Sprinkle flour over, stir, then add beef broth. Cook until thickened.
Reduce the heat and stir in sour cream. Mix gently and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve over egg noodles or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
