Steps

  • Begin by slicing the beef into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until translucent. Add minced garlic for an additional minute.
  • Add beef strips to the skillet and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté sliced mushrooms in the same skillet until golden brown.
  • Return beef to the skillet. Sprinkle flour over, stir, then add beef broth. Cook until thickened.
  • Reduce the heat and stir in sour cream. Mix gently and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve over egg noodles or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
