  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this into the creamed mixture.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula until evenly distributed.
  • Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned. Let cool on a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze and thaw when needed.
