olive oil
onion
cloves
garlic
heavy cream
beef broth
grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper
Fresh parsley
Instructions
Steps
Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring it to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.
In a frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground beef to the pan. Cook until the beef is browned, drain any excess fat.
Stir in the heavy cream and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and gradually add half of the Parmesan cheese.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat pasta with the sauce. Use reserved pasta water for consistency.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with remaining Parmesan and fresh parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of cream.
