Steps
Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
Add another tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In the same skillet with onions and garlic, stir in the heavy cream. Gradually add shredded cheese, stirring until a creamy sauce forms.
Add the cooked penne and browned beef to the sauce in the skillet. Stir well to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of cream to refresh the texture.
