  • penne pasta

  • Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  • Add another tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same skillet with onions and garlic, stir in the heavy cream. Gradually add shredded cheese, stirring until a creamy sauce forms.
  • Add the cooked penne and browned beef to the sauce in the skillet. Stir well to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of cream to refresh the texture.
