Steps

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet with garlic cream sauce. Stir in the beef and Parmesan cheese, adding reserved pasta water if needed.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately and adjust the sauce consistency using reserved pasta water if necessary.
