Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • pasta
  • beef sirloin
  • olive oil
  • garlic
  • onion
  • heavy cream
  • beef stock
  • salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

Steps

  • Cook the pasta. Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring it to a boil. Add your choice of pasta and cook according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the water and set aside.
  • Prepare the beef. In a frying pan over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the sliced beef to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook the beef until it's nicely browned on all sides. Once cooked, remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Sauté the aromatics. In the same pan, add the chopped onions and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the aroma of garlic fills the kitchen. Be careful not to burn the garlic as it turns bitter quickly.
  • Create the creamy sauce. Pour the beef stock into the pan and bring it to a gentle simmer. Gradually add the heavy cream, stirring continuously to mix well. Let the mixture thicken slightly to your liking.
  • Combine ingredients. Add the cooked beef back into the pan followed by the cooked pasta. Stir well to coat all the ingredients in the creamy sauce, ensuring they're evenly mixed.
  • Final touches. Turn off the heat and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley over the pasta. Mix gently and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. To reheat, add a splash of cream or stock to restore the creamy texture. Enjoy within three days for the best taste.
