Steps
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, ensuring garlic doesn't brown.
Lower heat to medium-low, pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add grated Parmesan into the sauce, stirring constantly until melted to form a smooth sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet, tossing gently until fully coated.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat on the stove with a splash of cream if needed.
