Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and season both sides with salt and pepper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pesto, heavy cream, and Parmesan until smooth.
Grease the baking dish with olive oil, then lay the chicken in a single layer. Pour the sauce over the chicken and scatter the cherry tomatoes around.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
