Parmesan cheese
olive oil
garlic
dried oregano
salt and pepper
fresh parsley
Instructions
Steps
Slice steak and mince garlic while preparing other ingredients.
Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve one cup of pasta water, drain the rest.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear steak strips on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes. Remove and let them rest.
In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic, then add cream and Parmesan to create a sauce. Gradually add reserved pasta water for consistency.
Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss. Reintroduce the steak strips, stir in oregano, salt, and pepper. Heat through.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Add a splash of cream or broth when reheating for ideal texture.
