  • breadcrumbs
  • grated Parmesan cheese

  • marinara sauce
  • shredded mozzarella cheese
  • pizza crust

Steps

  • Cut chicken breasts into thin cutlets. Season with salt and pepper, and coat each in flour, followed by egg, and then the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place pizza crust on a baking sheet. Spread marinara sauce, arrange chicken, and top with mozzarella.
  • Bake the pizza for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

For added ease, prepare chicken cutlets ahead of time and assemble just before baking.
