Steps

  • Place the diced onion and sliced mushrooms into the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a skillet, sear the beef over medium-high heat until browned on all sides. Transfer to the crockpot.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and sour cream. Pour over the beef and vegetables.
  • Season everything with salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the beef is tender.
  • Serve hot over noodles or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
