Steps

  • Brown the ground beef in a frying pan until it's cooked through, then transfer it to the crockpot.
  • Add chopped onion, celery, and minced garlic to the crockpot.

  • Minutes before serving, prepare the cheese sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, then whisking in flour, milk, and cheddar cheese until smooth.
  • Stir the cheese sauce into the crockpot, allow cooking for an additional 10 minutes, then season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
