  • Begin by patting the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Place the chicken in a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken, then rub the spices into the meat until evenly coated.
  • Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. Cook for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Transfer the cooked chicken breasts to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes. Use two forks to shred the chicken by pulling it apart into thin pieces.
