Begin by patting the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Place the chicken in a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken, then rub the spices into the meat until evenly coated.
Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. Cook for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Transfer the cooked chicken breasts to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes. Use two forks to shred the chicken by pulling it apart into thin pieces.
