  • Prepare the Ingredients: Gather all ingredients, chop onions and garlic, and cut beef chuck into cubes.
  • Sear the Beef: Heat olive oil in a pan, add beef in batches to brown on all sides.
  • Sauté the Aromatics: Add onions and garlic to the pan with beef drippings, sauté until soft.
  • Build the Sauce: Return beef to the pan, add broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Optional: add mushrooms.
  • Cook the Noodles: Boil another pot for noodles, cook as directed and set aside.
  • Combine and Finish: Stir cream into beef sauce, add noodles, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Notes
