Steps
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
Push the onion and garlic aside, and brown the ground beef in the center of the skillet.
Add the orzo, beef broth, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until orzo is tender and most liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
