Steps
Pat chicken dry with paper towel. Dredge thighs in flour mixture, coat evenly.
Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Brown chicken, remove and set aside.
Melt butter in skillet, cook onions until soft. Whisk in flour, then add broth and buttermilk.
Return chicken to skillet, simmer on low for 30-35 minutes until cooked.
Garnish with parsley and serve with rice or potatoes.
Notes
Store leftovers in airtight container. Reheat in skillet, adding broth if necessary to loosen gravy.
