Main Ingredients

  • beef
  • fresh ramen noodles
  • soy sauce
  • sesame oil
  • garlic cloves
  • ginger
  • beef broth
  • hoisin sauce
  • chili paste
  • green onions
  • sesame seeds
  • boiled eggs

Instructions

Steps

  • In a frying pan over medium heat, add sesame oil. Once heated, toss in the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until aromatic. Introduce the thinly sliced beef, stirring continuously for even cooking. Add soy sauce and hoisin sauce, mixing thoroughly and simmering gently.
  • In a large pot, bring beef broth to a gentle boil. Incorporate chili paste and remaining hoisin sauce. Stir to blend the flavors evenly, ensuring the broth serves as a rich base for your meal.
  • Cook the noodles according to packet instructions—typically 3–5 minutes. Once done, strain and rinse under cold water to halt the cooking process, ensuring they don’t overcook.
  • Assemble the ramen bowl by layering noodles, the beef mixture, and pouring the hot broth over them, combining flavors seamlessly for a rich experience.

Notes

To keep noodles from becoming soggy, cook them fresh before reheating the beef and broth together. Unfortunately, ramen doesn't freeze well, so store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
