Steps

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned.
  • Sprinkle flour over the beef and stir well. Gradually add beef broth and bring to a simmer to create a sauce.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the beef mixture in a casserole dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
