  • green bell pepper

  • provolone cheese
  • hoagie rolls
  • salt and pepper

Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add onions and green bell peppers, and cook until softened, stirring occasionally.
  • Push veggies to the side, add ground beef, and cook, breaking apart until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix cooked beef with vegetables in the skillet and let it heat together.
  • Place provolone cheese on top of the mixture, cover, and let melt for a couple of minutes.
  • Fill hoagie rolls with the beef and cheese mixture. Serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat using a skillet with a dash of water to maintain moisture.
