  • Medium onion
  • Garlic
  • Mushrooms
  • Flour
  • Beef broth
  • Sour cream
  • Worcestershire sauce

Steps

  • Start by warming a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it up and cook until browned all over.
  • In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion turns translucent.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and continue to sauté.
  • Sprinkle flour over the cooked vegetables and stir well to combine. Pour in the beef broth.
  • Return the browned beef to the skillet and stir in the Worcestershire sauce.
  • Lower the heat and gently fold in the sour cream, stirring carefully.
  • Taste the stroganoff and adjust seasoning. Serve over egg noodles, garnished with parsley.
