Steps

  • Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add onion and garlic to the beef, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until they're browned.
  • Sprinkle with flour and stir until incorporated, then add the beef broth slowly, stirring constantly.
  • Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.

Notes

Great served immediately, but the flavors will deepen if allowed to sit overnight in the refrigerator.
