  • ground beef
  • large onion
  • garlic
  • mushrooms
  • beef broth
  • sour cream
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • butter
  • egg noodles

Steps

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add and cook ground beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add butter to the skillet. Sauté diced onions until soft. Add minced garlic and cook until aromatic.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they're golden brown.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mix. Add beef broth slowly while stirring constantly.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce and return browned beef to skillet. Simmer on low heat with sour cream without bringing to boil.
  • Boil egg noodles as per package instructions.
  • Serve beef mixture over noodles and enjoy!

Notes

For variety, use a mix of wild mushrooms or substitute egg noodles with mashed potatoes.
