Gather all necessary ingredients before starting the cooking process.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Shape the mixture into patties, about half an inch thick, creating an indentation in the center of each.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, until brown.
In the same pan, add beef broth and bring it to a simmer. Stir in a cornstarch slurry to thicken and create gravy.
Place patties back into the pan to absorb flavors; serve hot with gravy and chosen sides.
