Steps
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Sprinkle in the flour, stirring constantly to form a roux for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Slowly add the beef stock to the roux, whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Stir until the gravy thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well.
