Steps

  • Marinate the chicken pieces in buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté, sear chicken pieces for 3 minutes per side.
  • Place a trivet in the Instant Pot, add water, and layer chicken. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer chicken to a wire rack, finish in the oven or fryer for crispiness.

Notes
