Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 fresh jalapenos seeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all ingredients by washing and chopping as needed.
  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium and sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and jalapenos.
  • Pour in chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and then add heavy cream.
  • Blend the soup until smooth and return it to the pot. Season with cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in lime juice, serve hot, and garnish with cilantro.
