Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • In a baking dish, layer the beef mixture and half of the shredded cheese.
  • Pour the custard mixture over the beef layer and sprinkle the remaining cheese and bacon on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
