Steps

  • Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Once boiling, add egg noodles and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same saucepan, heat sesame oil over medium-high. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes until sugar dissolves.
  • Reduce heat to low, pour sauce into the beef, and stir to coat. Add noodles, mix well, and top with green onions.
  • Transfer to serving bowls and garnish with more green onions or sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of beef broth for moisture preservation.
