Steps

  • Start by sautéing diced chicken in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from the skillet.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and add chopped onions, garlic, and vegetables. Stir well, then add flour. Gradually incorporate chicken broth and cream, stirring until the sauce thickens. Add cooked chicken back to the mixture.
  • Transfer the creamy chicken mixture into a lightly greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix with cold milk and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until a soft dough forms. Drop the dough by spoonfuls on top of the chicken mixture.
  • Place in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake until the biscuits are golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
