Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Form the mixture into small, 1-inch diameter meatballs and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and add meatballs. Brown them on all sides for about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté for 3 minutes. Sprinkle flour and stir. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, whisking constantly to make the gravy.
Return meatballs to the skillet, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
