  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • Form the mixture into small, 1-inch diameter meatballs and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and add meatballs. Brown them on all sides for about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté for 3 minutes. Sprinkle flour and stir. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, whisking constantly to make the gravy.
  • Return meatballs to the skillet, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
