  • medium onion
  • can of tomato sauce
  • can of kidney beans
  • can of corn
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • garlic
  • chili powder
  • cumin
  • Salt and pepper

Steps

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat, and transfer to slow cooker.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to skillet, cook until onion is translucent, then add to slow cooker.
  • Combine tomato sauce, kidney beans, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
  • Stir to blend ingredients, cover, and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, cover, and cook additional 10 minutes until cheese melts.
