Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Wash and hollow out bell peppers. Place them upright in a baking dish.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet. Add onion and garlic; cook until translucent.
  • Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon beef mixture into each pepper and top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake until cheese is bubbly, about 10 more minutes.
