Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Wash and hollow out bell peppers. Place them upright in a baking dish.
Brown ground beef in a skillet. Add onion and garlic; cook until translucent.
Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Spoon beef mixture into each pepper and top with mozzarella cheese.
Cover dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake until cheese is bubbly, about 10 more minutes.
