Steps
Combine soy sauce, water, honey, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Stir-fry broccoli for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over high heat. Sear beef slices in batches, 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Pour marinade into the skillet, reduce heat to medium, and add cornstarch slurry. Stir to thicken the sauce.
Return broccoli and beef to the skillet, mix well to coat with sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat over medium heat to retain the dish’s texture.
