Steps

  • Dust beef cubes with flour to coat them evenly.
  • Heat olive oil in a pot, add beef, and brown it on all sides.
  • Add garlic and onion to the same pot and sauté until translucent.
  • Pour in red wine to deglaze the pot, then add tomato paste and broth.
  • Return beef to the pot and add vegetables and herbs.
  • Cover and simmer for 2 hours or until beef is tender.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently on the stove, adding a bit of broth if needed.
