Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan.

  • In another bowl, mix the oil, vanilla extract, apple cider vinegar, and water.
  • Combine the wet and dry mixtures and stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
